ABOUT US

We are professional handlers (and, okay, dove lovers !), for whom raising rock doves (aka homing pigeons) is a Leopardi family tradition that goes back more than 60 years!

Our doves enjoy the royal treatment. We have placed their spacious enclosure in convenient proximity to our home, or, as the doves view it, "the main house," and clean it at least once a day. Our meticulous methods ensure that our birds live in the most hygienic environment possible, and keep us in tune with the state of their health. We also let them out to fly often; and they love to fly!

To ensure the safety of our birds, we maintain the highest standards, and observe the most stringent policies of release. For example, we will not release them indoors, at night, or within an hour of sunset, as they must have sufficient time to return home before it gets dark. Moreover, we will release them only within a distance from which they can safely return home. For our Harmony Doves, that's a radius of about 50 miles around Baden , PA.

We will not release our birds in inclement weather, as rain, sleet, thunderstorms, snow, fog, and high winds present conditions that will prevent their safe navigation home.

We will never ship our doves to be independently released by a third party.
